I am so amazed that I am the age I am. Last week I went in and filed for Social Security.
When I got through, I said to the man, This feels so weird! In my head I feel like I am 11. And he looked at me and said, You don't look a day over 12.
Well, that is my milestone for this month. In this part of my life I am going to try to deepen my practice as much as possible, and to try to get rid of fear. I always like the question, what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?
What I would do is:
1. Sing
2. Do art
3. Do Yoga teacher training at my studio
4. Eat candy
5. Learn to salsa dance

Beginning a blog
Well, beginning a blog is kind of a different thing for me. I really love talking with people, but somehow feel more self conscious about writing. Being an old English major, I always had my writing criticized a lot. So I am giving myself permission to not be perfect with all this.
As a member of the Shambhava sangha, I find myself going through some huge and expansive changes, and I would like to stay connected to that process and write about it, if I can.
I feel the most profound gratitude for my teacher, Sri. Shambhavanda, every single day, and thank him for his guidance.
